When trying to get our attention, the universe will communicate with us in many ways. Our intuition assists us in receiving and decoding the information if we pay attention. Sometimes it might feel like the many random coincidences are happening all at the same time. The messages can be confusing and surreal. It is those times when we do not pay attention that we later regret. So how do we know what to look for in a sign?

Below are a few ways that divine intuition is communicating with you:

1. Dreams

Dreams can give us so much insight into what is happening or about to happen in our life. Notice metaphors in your dreams. Hopefully, you are taking notes the moment you wake up. Whether it is a warning about a situation or insight into how you approach life, there is so much that we can learn from our dreams. Look at symbolism. Ask yourself what or who in your life does this represent? There are so many ways to interpret our dreams and that is what makes dream interpretation so fascinating.

2. Physical Cues Be aware of what your body is trying to communicate. We can learn more about how physical cues relate to our life by becoming familiar with the location of our chakras. For example, if it is a sore throat…where in your life are not feeling heard? If it is a headache, what in your life do you not want to see? If the pain is in your stomach, where in your life are you feeling powerless?

3. Unexplained delays

Sometimes no matter how hard we try to get somewhere, it seems that everything around us causes a delay. Perhaps you were unable to find your car keys or you got in the car only to realize the gas tank was empty. Those delays could be protecting you from someone along the way such as an accident.

4. Animal Totems From time to time, an animal that you might not ordinarily see will cross your path. When this happens, ask yourself, Why is this animal showing up in my life right now? What am I missing that I need to know? Animals can be messengers and we must be mindful of what that animal wants us to know. There are many excellent books on animal totems that might be useful in decoding the sign.

5. Repeating Numbers

Repeating numbers have a spiritual meaning as well. When you see this happen, write them down. Whether it is the same number coming up again and again in your life or seeing triple digits on a clock, there is a message. A simple Google search will provide insight into your angel messages.

6. Recurring Themes

Do you ever feel like you are repeating the same experience with different people? Or, could it be a certain theme keeps showing up in all areas of your life? These recurring themes are lessons and if the same thing appears, again and again, it is time to listen to what the universe wants you to know.

7. Other People

There are times when we are looking for an answer in our lives and the answer will come out the mouth of someone around you. That person will have no idea that they are giving you a message, but the message will be clear and have meaning to whatever is going on in your life. These messages can also come through a complete stranger. The other person is a channel without even knowing. The answers are all around us if we choose to observe and listen.

8. A Song on the radio or a message on TV

Intuitive messages can come in the form of a song on the radio or even a message that comes through the TV. Pay attention to the many synchronicities happening around you. Sometimes Spirit or our angels communicate with us to let us know that they are all around guiding the situation.

The above list is only a few ways that Spirit will get our attention. The beauty of cosmic signs is that only you can interpret what the message is about or in what form it appears. There is no need to question or speculate as to whether or not what happened was real. When it happens, you will know. Trust that you are divinely supported.
